ELLENSBURG, WA – July 20 –  The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce remains dedicated to not only its member businesses, but advocating for small businesses in Kittitas County as a whole. We have faced many challenges throughout this year, but by aligning with our partners including Kittitas County Public Health Department, Kittitas County Emergency Management Team, government entities, first responders and many more, we continue to bring economic prosperity to our community. In order to continue, as our mission states, building business and building community, we must come together in the face of COVID-19 and the challenges 2020 continues to throw our way. As a part of improving our health, whether it is economic, social, mental, and/or physical, it is important we focus on the bigger picture at hand. We must double our efforts to make sure our community remains healthy to protect our elderly and high-risk populations. We must continue to practice COVID-19 safety measures, which include business safety planning, social distancing, sanitizing and masking. Working together to keep everyone safe and healthy will ensure our local businesses, schools, and community are able to open up again and our community remains in Phase 3 reopening status. All of these efforts will not only create a positive impact for the health and wellbeing of our citizens, but will be pragmatic efforts towards boosting our economic vitality.

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of the small businesses and community members of Kittitas County, the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce will be cancelling all of our events for 2020 and moving our networking events, First Friday Coffee and Business After Hours online. As always, we want to remind people to be kind and respectful, especially during this unprecedented time. The Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce will always be a resource for those that need it. Please reach out to us if you have any questions by emailing myself, amy@kittitascountychamber.com or calling our office at (509) 925-2002.
